Below you
will find a sampling of the custom fabricated products we furnish to our industrial
clients in a variety of manufacturing markets.
Hoists There are currently over two hundred Mid-Western
hoists in operation. The systems represent virtually all types of finishing systems from
anodizing to zinc plating, conversion coatings and electrocoat paint systems. The systems
use barrels, baskets, and racks. Hoist load capacities range from a few hundred pounds to
over 15,000 pounds, and production capabilities over 100,000 pounds per hour.

Production lines equipment has moved from proprietary controller I/O
protocols to open protocols and from wired networks to wireless networks. The task of
communicating with all of the mechanical devices in a system has become more complex as
extensive use of robotics has taken over some assembly line and welding tasks. Whether
you'd like to access your production devices using Ethernet or extend a wired network
using wireless communications, MWP understands the technologies and can develop innovative
solutions that excel in all types of industrial environments.
Metal Finishing and Pollution Control
Mid-Western Processes, Inc. is involved in virtually all phases of
metal finishing, including anodizing, phosphating, pickling, electrocoat paint, resource
recovery, electroplating, continuous strip and tube plating, plating on plastics and
chemical processing.
Our effluent treatment systems are modularized for efficient
installation, and range from small batch treatment to fully automated continuous systems
handling flows in excess of 200 gallons per minute. Chemical and physical treatment
systems can include (as required): hexavalent chromium reduction, cyanide oxidation,
neutralization, precipitation, clarification, sludge de-watering, evaporative recovery,
and ion exchange. Our filter presses range in capacity from 0.5 ft3 to 50 ft3.
Mid-Western Processes, Inc. designs and manufacturers systems to handle
a variety of very difficult part handling situations as well as load and unload systems.
Other products are: hydrostatic level control systems that are extremely accurate and
unaffected by oils, foam and solids; control panels; the "Barrel-Aire" connector
system, which allows the running of rotating barrels and racks in the same process line.
The unit functions automatically and eliminates any electrical hazards.
